Wiper and washer
Windshield washing liquid and
washer nozzle
The storage tank at the right side in the
front compartment provides washing liquid
for the windshield washer nozzle.
Please use the recommended and approved
washing liquid for XEV vehicles. Refer to
page P129 for specifications and dosage.
Regularly use the washer and check
whether the nozzle is smooth and whether
the direction is correct. If the nozzle is
blocked, use a needle or thin wire to reach
into the hole to clean the blockage.
The windshield washer nozzle has been set
during production and generally does not
need to be adjusted. If adjustment is
required, insert a needle into the nozzle and
lever gently to position the nozzle so that the
washing liquid is sprayed directly into the
center of the window.

Replacement of wiper blade

Slightly lift the wiper arm upward.

Place a rag or equivalent under the
wiper arm to prevent the it from
damaging the glass due to the elastic
force.

Lift the wiper arm, open the wiper
blade clamp cover, push the blade out
slowly from the U-hook of the wiper
arm, and remove the blade.

Slowly lower the wiper arm.

Install the new wiper blade back on
the wiper arm in reverse steps. When
the wiper blade and the wiper arm U-
hook are assembled, close the wiper
clamp cover.

Wash the wiper blade in warm
soapy water and check its state
regularly.

Often clean the windshield, try to
avoid the use of wiper to brush the
sand on the glass, which may affect its
effectiveness and reduce the service
life.

Gently place the wiper arm back on
the windshield.
If the wiper blade is hardened, it
may leave scratches on the wind-
shield, or fail to clean a certain area.
Replace the wiper in case of the
above situation.

If the wiper or windshield is covered
with ice or snow, please clean the ice
and snow off the wiper and the glass
before using the wiper to avoid
damage to the wiper.

Replace the original wiper with a
new wiper with the same specifications.
