Evaluation Criteria

printing, Ethernet networking, and the first digital Multifunction Product (MFP), Xerox has
many years and significant monetary investments in Research and Development designing the
most productive office devices in the industry. This experience has positioned Xerox as the
recognized leader in office MFP design and performance.
Based on our in-depth understanding of customer needs in the office, Xerox recommends the
following criteria be considered in the evaluation process of deploying and managing the fleet.

– can it keep up with the demands of a multiple user environment?

– are all the capabilities integrated and intuitive?

– is it designed and built for demanding use and backed with best of breed
capabilities and support?

Security
– does it address all aspects of security with embedded features in the controller?

Total Cost of Ownership
– are there tools available to assist in managing the fleet?
MFPs often look the same from the outside. A quick look at comparable specifications on
speeds, feeds, and print resolutions, would conclude that most MFPs are basically equal.
