1. Device reliability is dependent upon robust and intelligent architecture. With a simple paper
path and minimal number of moving parts, there is very little that can go wrong. Innovative
reliability features predict when the major imaging components need replacing, helping
prevent costly downtime. Device, UI, print driver, CentreWare IS-intelligent remote services,
online help and user CD with device offer detailed descriptions of device status and pictures
to aid in easy jam clearance, plus real-time failure detection and alerts that enable traffic
redirection. SMart eSolutions simplifies ownership and administration of Xerox products with
MeterAssistant (meter collection), direct automated billing that sends meter reads for you,
and Supplies Assistant (supply management) for hands-free, hassle-free and secure (SSL
technology) Xerox device management. Easy to replace, high-yield SMart Kit components
offer the convenience of instant device availability without a service call, keeping you up
and running without delay.
2. Network reliability is dependent upon 100% compatibility and maintaining standards. Every
WorkCentre Pro is subjected to a controlled, formal test based on the IEEE software testing
standards and certified at Capability Maturity Model (CMM) level 2. Compatibility testing
takes place using a number of environmental conditions including server operating systems,
client operating systems, network topologies, email servers and web browsers. Xerox devices
maintain standards through adherence to standard protocols (set up, authentication and secure
print), consistency in physical standards (network cards, drivers and front end) and operations
(copy, print, scan, fax and store) with rock solid security and data integrity.
