Fax Overview
You can send a fax in one of four ways:
•
Fax
, or embedded fax, scans the document and sends it directly to a fax machine.
•
Server Fax
scans the document and sends it to a fax server, which transmits the document to a fax
machine.
•
Internet Fax
scans the document and emails it to a recipient.
•
LAN Fax
sends the current print job as a fax. For details, see the print driver software.
Note:
Not all options listed are supported on all printers. Some options apply only to a specific
printer model, configuration, operating system, or driver type. For details, contact your Xerox
representative.
