• If an IP address is already set, skip this step.
• If DHCP or BOOTP is available in your environment, configure the method for
obtaining the address. If an IP address cannot be obtained automatically or
manual configuration is preferred, confirm the settings of an IP address, a subnet
mask, and a gateway address.
11. Select Close repeatedly until the main Tools screen is displayed.
12. Exit the System Administrator Mode.
13. When the Reboot message displays, select Reboot Now.
14. After the press is restarted, print out the Printer Settings List to confirm that the ports
are enabled and TCP/IP is configured.
Configuring the E-mail Environment
Note
The e-mail configuration also can be performed using CentreWare Internet Services.

Settings .
1. Login as the Administrator.
2. Press the Machine Status button on the press User Interface (UI).
3. Select the Tools tab on the UI.
4. Select System Settings.
5. Select Connectivity & Network Setup > Device's E-mail Address / Host Name .
6. Set the device e-mail address, host name, and domain name.
a) Select E-mail Address and then select Change Settings.
b) Enter the E-mail Address using the keyboard displayed.
c) Select Save.
d) Repeat the previous sub-steps to set the Host Name and Domain Name.
e) Select Save.
f) Select Close repeatedly until the main Tools screen is displayed.
7. Select Connectivity & Network Setup > Other Settings .
8. Configure the server settings for receiving e-mails.
a) Select Protocol to Receive E-mail.
b) Select Change Settings.
c) Select either SMTP or POP3 as appropriate for your environment.
d) Select Save.
e) Select Close repeatedly until the main Tools screen is displayed.
9. Exit the System Administrator Mode.
10. Complete the E-mail environment configuration by continuing to Configuring the
E-mail Environment Settings from CentreWare Internet Services .
