8825/8830 DDS User Guide/2

The 8825/8830 DDS contains AutoIQ technology from Xerox Engineering
Systems.  AutoIQ enables the system to intelligently examine a sample of
the document and to automatically make the image quality adjustments that
yield a good copy even from poor original documents.  AutoIQ also
automatically detects the width and adjusts the centering of a scanned
original for most documents.
On the next pages, we’ll look at each of the three components of the
8825/8830 DDS system.  Then, you will learn how to ensure that the
8825/8830 DDS is ready to operate.
