Solid Dark or Dirty Prints, No Border

The prints appear very dirty and brown over 

the entire page.

This print-quality symptom is a composite 

image of all colors with no margin. This is 
caused by a charge voltage failure. For 
information on the Imaging Unit charge 

contacts, see "Theory of Operation" on 
page 301.

Note: 

After replacing any component in Step 2 or 3, run the Clean 

the Imaging Unit IDT1 and IDT2 rollers from the 

Maintenance section of Service Diagnostics. See “
