Can Metallic Dry Inks be used to
achieve metallic effects other than
Gold and Silver?
Yes. By altering the color underneath
the metallic layer, a variety of interesting
metallic effects can be achieved,
including pewter and bronze tones.
Please note that with pewter and bronze
tones, it is inadvisable to use <60% of
silver or gold in these mixes.
Are pages with Gold Dry Ink and Silver
Dry Ink recyclable?
Yes. Pages printed with Metallic Dry Inks
are easily recycled.
FAQs.
Which substrates can be used?
The substrate capabilities are the same
as your Xerox
®
Color 800i/1000i Presses’
range. It is important to note that the
surface texture and sheen of the paper
affect the ink coverage. Smooth texture,
matte, and dull coated papers tend
to provide more impact and the best
results. Please consult your print provider
for more information.
