Tinted effects in
Adobe
®
InDesign
®
A tinted effect is created by layering two
identical objects on top of each other.
The objects on the top layer will print
with Metallic Dry Ink allowing the color
from the object below to show through.
Follow the basic setup for the layer
and Metallic Dry Ink swatch.

Place or create a vector graphic on
the metallic layer.

Apply a color (
Silver
or
Gold
) to it.

To add a tint, select Window >
Effects and adjust the opacity
as desired.

Select Window > Output >
Attributes > Overprint Fill.
