Close the cover.

Inspect the switch and ensure the switch’s actuator is not broken.

Test the front cover open switch using the sensor test described in “Switch
scan test” on page 63.

Inspect the switch’s wiring harness.

Replace the engine controller board.

Replace the printer unit chassis

Off/On

EE-Transfer Belt Unit
Missing

Remove and re-install the transfer belt unit.

Clean the transfer belt unit’s contact on the front-left side of the engine
chassis. Clean the corresponding contacts on the transfer belt unit.

Install a new transfer belt unit.

Replace the engine controller board.

Replace the printer unit chassis.

Fuser Missing Reseat Fuser, Power Off/On

EF-Fuser Unit Missing

Remove and reinstall the fuser.

install a new fuser.

Replace the low-voltage power supply.

Replace the engine controller board.
