The diagnostics page is used to diagnose your
X-44
telephone and telephone system.
Syslog Settings
Gives you the ability to download a system log to a central computer or server.
• Enable “Log Server” by checking the checkbox
• Select the log level between Emergency (lowest level) and Debug (highest level - most amount of
trace information)
• System Log Address - Enter the IP Address of the Client or Server computer where the trace
information will be saved.
• System Log Port - Although you can change the log port, leaving it at 514 may be the best solution.
Diagnostics
• VM (Voicemail) status - shows the amount, in a percentage, of time that is used by the voicemail
system.
• System Status - Shows the status of each of the telephones on the network. The Arrow points to
the phone that you are currently logged into, and the * shows the operator extension.
