3.2 Product specifications
The specification in table 3.1 details the performance of the each printhead model, as tested under
standard operational conditions. These specifications can vary according to printhead integration and
system set-up.
The specifications listed in table 3.1 are based upon testing carried out by Xaar under
laboratory conditions with approved inks. In a customer application, some
specifications such as linear speed, resolution and throughput, together with the final
print quality and machine output, will be subject to the design of the machine and the
number of passes required to achieve the print quality and coverage desired. The
choice of ink and substrate/media used will also ultimately impact the printhead
performance.
