Status

The Status Tab contains information about your instrument. It is shown as Figure 2-9

There are no changes to make on the Status Tab. It is for informational purposes only.

•

System Status

: Describes the current state of communications for the

instrument. Communications Established indicates it is connected properly to

your computer.

•

Calibration

: Describes the calibration status of the instrument.

•

Aperture

: Indicates which aperture size is currently being used: small or regular

area of view.

•

Specular

: Indicates the specular component setting has been chosen- Included

or Excluded. (SCE, SCI).
