− Do not touch the drill bit until it has cooled down.
− Use personal protective equipment. Always wear eye
protection.
Protective equipment such as dust mask, non-skid safety
shoes, hard hat, or hearing protection used for appropriate
conditions will reduce personal injuries.
Risk of injury while drilling!
While drilling, you could inhale dust and possibly wood chips
that could harm yourself and other persons as a result.
When drilling, the loud drilling noises could damage your
hearing. Noise may cause hearing loss.
− Wear a dust mask.
− Wear ear plugs.
Risk of damage!
If the vents on the cordless hammer drill are covered or an
unsuitable drill bit and settings are used for different
materials, the cordless hammer drill and the drill bits could be
damaged.
− Do not cover the vents.
− If you cover the vents during operation, the accumulation
of heat may damage the cordless hammer drill.
− Only use the enclosed drill bit for metal, wood and plastic.
− Masonry bits are generally available for purchase
