Releasing a jammed bit
1. If the cordless hammer drill jams, release the on/off switch (11) and
retrieve the drill from the hole.
2. Check whether the jam is caused by the cordless hammer drill by
briefly pressing the on/off switch. In the process, do not direct the
drill toward yourself or other persons or animals.
• If the battery drill does not start, please follow the instructions in
chapter "Troubleshooting", point 1.
• If the battery drill functions perfectly, please follow the next steps
in this chapter.
3. If you are drilling, please ensure that the control dial (3) is set to
(hammer drilling) for bricks, concrete or stone. Place the drill
back into the drill hole.
4. If using the screwdriver function, please set the torque ring (2) to a
higher torque.
5. Briefly activate the on/off switch and exert slight pressure on the
battery drill.
6. Take intermittent breaks and remove the drill from the drill hole to
allow the bit to cool down.
7. Repeat steps 4 and 5 until the blockage is cleared.
After use
1.
Switch the cordless hammer drill off by releasing the On/Off
switch (11).
2.
Set the rotation selector (6) to the center position to prevent it from
unintentionally activating.
3.
Push the rechargeable battery release button (9) of the
rechargeable battery (8) and pull the rechargeable battery out.
4. Let the cordless hammer drill cool off completely.
5. If necessary, remove the fitted tool.
