5. Clean the contacts of the rechargeable battery and the cordless
hammer drill with a dry, clean cloth.
6. Then dry the cordless hammer drill thoroughly and let it dry
completely for a while.
Do not lubricate the cordless hammer drill.
7.
Remove drill dust and any chips from the quick-action safety drill
chuck (1).
8. Keep the connection contacts of the charger, the cordless hammer
drill and the rechargeable battery clean.
The cordless hammer drill is now completely clean.
Storage and transport
Risk of damage!
Improper storage or transport of the cordless hammer drill
could damage the cordless hammer drill.
− Store the cordless hammer drill in a clean, dry and frost-
free area where it and the rechargeable battery are
protected against direct sunlight. Always use the storage
case to store and transport the cordless hammer drill and
the accessories. Other storage locations and transport
possibilities will not sufficiently protect the cordless
hammer drill, the accessories and especially the contacts.
− Clean the device after use.
− Keep the device away from children.
− Protect the device against impacts, vibrations etc. when
transporting it.
− Store the device in a dry room at an ambient temperature
between 0 °C and 45 °C.
− Store the device in a dust-free location.
