Maintanance

20.1 Cleaning the GIS 320 Head and Cables

Liquids

: Use one of these liquids:

Warm water optionally with a weak detergent solution

Equipment

A soft cloth

Procedure

1. Soak the cloth in the liquid.

2. Twist the cloth to remove excess liquid.

3. Clean the part with the cloth.

Warning

: Do NOT use any common cleaning detergent on the infrared lens, they tend to react with the

anti‐reflective coating and will irreparably destroy it!
