30. Checking the gas supply pressure
Check the gas supply pressure (gas flow pressure)
Work on gas components must only be
performed by a licensed gas fitter. Work
that is carried out incorrectly may lead to
gas escaping, resulting in a risk of
explosion, suffocation or poisoning.
• Switch ON/OFF switch on the appliance to OFF.
• Release the plug at the test nipple with two turns.
• Slowly open the gas shut-off valve.
• Bleed off escaping gas via a hydraulic seal
until no more air escapes.
• Connect the differential pressure tester at the
pressure test nipple to "+", with "-" against
atmosphere.
• Switch the ON/OFF switch to ON.
After starting the boiler, check the supply pressure
at the differential pressure tester.
• Switch the ON/OFF switch to OFF. Close the gas
shut-off valve.
• Remove the differential pressure tester.
Re-seal the test nipple with the plug.
• Open the gas shut-off valve.
• Check the test nipple is gas-tight.
• Refit the burner hood.
If any screws are not tightened, there is a
danger of gas escaping, leading to a risk
of explosion, suffocation or poisoning.

must not be started.
