27. Cascade operation
Cascades (overpressure), open flue
The following basic principles are taken into
consideration in all calculations for the sizing
tables:

Length between the individual appliances: 1.0 m
-
Length after the last appliance: 2.0 m
-
Pressure drops: 2 x 45° bends in the diameter of
the header pipe (optionally as lateral offset or 90°
diversion)

Combustion air supply: from installation room
-
Duct ventilation: balanced flow principle

Geodetic height: 325 m

A maximum back pressure up to 50 Pa must be maintained in the connection to the header line and must not be exceeded.
Only use DIBt approved flue pipes.
In cascade operation, a Wolf cascade controller is required.
