Operating times

Please convider the individual country

spezification.

Charging

A

The shears must have been charged for

> 5-6 hours before their first use. For

charging - plug the charger in a 230-volt

AC outlet (red lamp lights up) and plug the

charger plug into the charge socket of the

rechargeable shears.

Attention!

Only use the charger in dry rooms!

Please note:

•

Please disconnect the charger from the

battery shear whilst the charger is not

in use. Failure to do so will cause the

batteries to run down unnecessarily.

• In the interest of long battery service life,

the device should not be connected to

the charger longer than is necessary.

•  Always store the shears in a dry room out of the

reach of children in such a way that the cutting

head is protected.

Charger

•  The charger may only be used in dry rooms.

•  Unplug cable connections only by pulling on the

plug. Pulling on the cable could damage cable

as well as plug and electrical safety could not be

guaranteed.

•  Never use the charger if cable, plug, or the

device itself have been damaged through

external influence. Bring the charger to the

nearest repair shop.

•  Under no circumstances should you open the

charger. In case of a malfunction take the device

to a repair shop.

Battery

•  As a result of incorrect use, fluid can leak from

the rechargeable battery. Avoid contact with the

fluid. In case of accidental contact, rinse with

water. In case of fluid contact with the eyes,

seek medical aid. Leaking battery fluid can

cause irritation of the skin or burns.

•

Danger of fire!

 Never charge batteries in the

vicinity of acids or easily flammable materials.

- Do not operate battery-powered shears while

the battery is charging.

- Charge battery only at a temperature between

10 - 45 °C. After a heavy load, first allow the

battery to cool.

Safety instructions

Operation

• The rechargeable shears should not

be charged prior to long periods when

it will not be used, and it should not be

charged intermittently in winter.

• The charging time for a completely

discharged battery is 5-6 hours.

• The lithium-ion rechargeable battery can be

charged at any charge level and charging

can be interrupted at any time without

damaging the battery (no memory effect).

Adjusting the cutter head

B

Slide the lock button up (1) and then turn

the cutter head to the desired position (2).

Release the button (1) and check whether

the cutter head is locked in place.

Please note:

The cutter head can be locked in five

positions (90° « 45° « 0° » 45° » 90°).

Disposal

• Do not dispose of electrical equipment

in domestic waste. Recycle equipment,

accessories and packaging in an

environment-friendly manner.

•

Danger of explosion!

 Protect battery-powered

shears from heat and fire.

- Do not place on heating units or expose to

strong sunlight for an extended period.

- Operate the battery-powered shears only at

temperatures between -10 °C to + 45 °C.
