have completed the adjustment proce-
dure. Max. ON time is 120 seconds.

using a hexagon wrench SW

display. The real adjusted range in
diameter at the slide or cutting edge is
shown.
Please note the following points: no
sign = increase in diameter, minus
sign (-) = reduction in diameter.

(tightening
torque 8 Nm (70.81 in. lbs.))
Remarks:
• When the display is switched on, it can
be reset to “0” by pressing the
“ON/Reset” button again.
• The display always shows the dimen-
sional change from the previously set
value or 0. The absolute slide position
cannot be shown.
Caution:
Make dimensional correc-
tions to the precision tool
only with the electronic
system switched on. Noncompliance
with this requirement will result in an
undefined cutting edge position and
the precision tool will have to be read-
justed with a setting instrument.
Battery changing
(Fig. 10)
The two integrated batteries have a service
life of approx. 5500 adjustment cycles. We
recommend keeping replacement batteries
at hand at all times. If "Low battery" is
shown on the display, the batteries will last
for approximately 50 more adjustment
cycles. When the "Low battery" display
flashes, the batteries are flat and must be
replaced. When the batteries are exchang -
ed, the sealing ring in the cover must also
be exchanged, because this is the
Clamping
(Fig. 10)
The tool is provided with a clamping
screw

. Secure the slide with the
clamping screw to ensure that no chan-
ges in diameter can occur (tightening
torque 8 Nm (70.81 in. lbs.)).
During machining, the slide must be
secured with this clamping screw. This
clamping must be applied before and
after every adjustment procedure
Caution:
Do not adjust the diameter
when the slide is clamped!
Otherwise the adjustment
parts will be damaged.
Diameter adjustment
(Fig. 10)
This precision tool has an electronic
traverse measuring system with a digital
display.
Comply with the following sequence
when adjusting the diameter (Fig. 10):
1. Switch on the digital display by pres-
sing the “ON/Reset” button. The
