The Wöhler S-type Pitot tube (order no. 3941) with integrated temperature
sensor was specially developed for measuring ventilation losses (patent rights
pending). When folded up, it can be inserted through measurement openings
with a diameter of more than 8 mm. After that, the tube can be fixed with the
cone and then be unfolded to permit measurements. The probe can be adap-
ted to different cross sections of the exhaust-gas line with the help of the two
knurled screws. This adjustment must take place before the actual measure-
ment is started, since it is required to check and/or adjust the oppositely
running orientation of the measuring tubes after loosening the knurled screws
and adjusting the immersion depth.
