Channel Selection and Mixing
To produce audio through the internal speakers, press each of the
Speaker Assign
buttons ( on page 20 ) until each channel is output
through the speaker of your choice. See Table 2–9 .
Note:
The level meters will operate automatically, displaying
volume levels for each channel carrying an input signal.

Example:
Suppose you are monitoring an AES pair connected to the unbalanced
AES/PCM In 1
. When AES1 AES1 AES1 AES1 is selected for input, the left channel of
the AES pair will appear on the meter for Channel 1, and the right on
Channel 2. Press the
Speaker Assign
button for Channel 1 until the
Channel LED turns green. Press the
Speaker Assign
button for
Channel 2 until the Channel LED turns amber. The left channel of the
AES pair now sounds in the left speaker, and the right channel in the
right speaker..
