4. Functional description
4.1 Drive
The GMG-B pump unit is driven by a direct current gear motor

that is flanged to the pump
casing

from below.
4.2 Delivery function
When the eccentric shaft

is rotating, the delivery piston

of every pump element per-
forms a suction and delivery stroke per rotation each whilst delivering lubricant from the
reservoir

to the lube points.
Depending on the case of application (lubricant, lubricant need, etc.), the pump unit can be
fitted with different pump elements and monitoring elements.
