2.6 Installation steps
Step #1: Remove the enclosure’s plastic top cover (2) by releasing and removing the four screws
(3) by a screwdriver.
Step #2: Remove the jumper from the DC battery connector (9) and the device will be stopped.
Step #3: Insert a replaceable and active SIM card (activated, which uses APN) into the SIM-
holder (6). Take care, the SIM chip looks down, cutted edge of the SIM is oriented to inside.
Push the SIM, until it is fastened (you will hear a click sound).

Step #4: For the serial configuration you need to use the „USB UART converter” adapter (order
option, nr. 11) with the provided 3-pin serial cable (nr. 12 with the colors yellow-
red

orange
).
Ensure that the jumper (nr. 13) is on the VCC and 3V3 position (these must be closed - check
the back side of the adapter).
Step #5: The configuration cable wires (marked on the figure by nr. 12) must be plugged to the
USB adapter according to the next wiring:
