7. Advanced Linux-side daemons and services 

The following daemons and services can be accessed from SSH, at the Linux command line interface. 
Connect by a terminal program to the router 22 port at its IP address and configure the following 
daemons.

 

 

 

7.1 Using the UCI Command Line Interface  

 
Unified Configuration Interface (UCI

®

) is an API of OpenWrt

®

 which is also the utility to intend 

and to centralize the whole configuration of a device running on OpenWrt

®

.

7.2 IPSec (Strongswan) settings 

 
Strongswan  is  a 

Linux  Charon  IPsec  daemon,  which  can  be  configured  through  the  dollowing 

directory from the router: 

/etc/config/ipsec
