12.1 General
12.2 Maintenance intervals
12. OPERATION AND MAINTENANCE
The regulations concerning operation, maintenance
and inspection in accordance with the applicable
safety regulations in lift construction such as
GB7588 "safety rules for the construction and
installation of lifts", Part 1:"Electric lifts" and other
relevant regulations are to be strictly observed.
The operator is responsible for the proper installation
of the motor with regard to safety requirements
as well as for its inspection and maintenance as
specied in the applicable regulations.
Danger
The proper maintenance of gearless lift
machines requires adequately trained
specialist personnel and specialised
devices and tools.
The maintenance work which is not
mentioned in this section shall not be
done by motor installation/maintenance
personnel.
Bolt/screw tightening torques
Warning
When doing any work on the machine or
replacing parts, make sure that the specified
bolt/screw strength class and the tightening
torques are observed (see table). Secure the
bolts/screws with "omnifit 100" or a similar
product against accidental loosening.
