Safety during use
Cracked glass
CAUTION
Risk of injury from cracked glass!
The positive pressure can penetrate into leaking watches during the test.
If this is the case, the interior of the watches will be under pressure after
the test. The glass in the watch can then splinter or crack. It can cause
serious eye injuries and even blindness.
Mandatory
Observe the instructions for wearing safety goggles in this
Operating manual!
If it is necessary to wear safety glasses, make sure that other people in
the room are at an appropriate distance from the device.
Compressed air
The compressed air devices can be dangerous if they are disconnected
when compressed air is present. A pressurised line that is disconnected
can cause the air to escape extremely quickly as a result of the escaping
pressure, thus posing a danger, especially to the eyes and face.
CAUTION
Risk of injury from compressed air!
If compressed air escapes uncontrolled, there is a risk of injury.
• Take care when working on the compressor or the compressed air
hoses.
Prohibition
Do not exceed the maximum supply pressure of 12 bar!
Device components could otherwise burst.
Prohibition
Never force the device cover to open when the device is
under pressure!
Otherwise parts could be ejected.
Mandatory
Follow the obligations set out below:
Check the compressed air hose before each use!
The integrity of the hose is crucial for safety.
Make sure that the compressed air hose is not subjected to any
external mechanical loads!
The compressed air hose must therefore not come into contact with
sources of heat, oils or greases, and must not be crushed, kinked,
pinched or subjected to excessive tensile loads.
Before the unit is put out of operation, the compressed air supply
must be completely disconnected!
To reduce the risk of damage from residual pressure in the unit.
