The Antenna Elevation is the combined elevation of both the transmitter and the receiver
(transmitter at 1m and receiver at 9m will behave similarly as the transmitter at 5m and
receiver at 5m.
Changes in power level will help to address a less than ideal antenna or poor line of sight
conditions.
When line of sight or elevation is poor, the range can also be approximately doubled with
every 6dB increase in link budget (either increase in TX power, or increase in RX sensitivity).
From testing, these ranges can be expected from a
20dBm
transmitter at the indicated
elevation.
The TReX has an output power of
36dBm
(4W).
