4.2.2.4 PPM CONFIGURATION
PPM (processor power management) configuration provides support and settings for
processor performance states and CPU C state report etc.
CPU C State Report: To activate or deactivates reporting of the CPU-C state to the
operating system. The options are [Enabled] and [Disabled].
Max CPU C-State: To set the maximum power saving mode state to cut the clock signal
and power from idle units inside the CPU.
C1: Stops CPU main internal clocks via software; bus interface unit and APIC are kept
running at full speed.
S0ix:
Shut off part of the SoC when they are not in use. The options are [Disabled] and
[Enabled].
