This section helps you to efficiently troubleshoot your system to ensure an accurate
diagnosis of the problem. The following troubleshooting instructions provides procedures
for comprehensions, identifications, testing and resolving common issues and problems.
CAUTION
To avoid damage and potential problems, please follow the cautions and safety instructions
before replacing, removing, re-seating or modifying any components.
Only technicians and engineers should attempt to troubleshoot, repair and upgrade this
machine.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, disconnect the power before any changes and
modifications in the machine.
PROBLEM
CHECKPOINTS
Does not boot?
1. Make sure that the power requirements of the motherboard and
properly connected.
2. Replace or reset the memory modules.
3. Make sure you inserted the low voltage 1.35V DDR3L memory
module. the system only supports low voltage memory. (Doesn't
support 1.5V)
3. Clear the motherboard CMOS battery to restore BIOS settings to
default.
No display?
1. Check the monitor/LCD power.
2. Make sure the power cord and media (VGA/HDMI) cord is properly
connected and not damaged.
3. Check, if the display brightness control is set to dark, please set the
brightness control.
4. If the monitor is in Power Save mode, press any key on the
keyboard.
Can't save BIOS settings?
1. Re-set or replace the CMOS battery, and make sure the CMOS
battery voltage is lower than 2.8V
2. Check the system date and time.
2. Make sure that update or modify the settings are correct according
to the boot screen prompts.
Can't find bootable device?
1. Make sure that the hard disk power and data cable are properly
connected.
2. Go to the BIOS settings, and check the boot order selection.
3. Confirm that the storage drive is not damaged and working fine, you
can check it on other system.
4. Reconnect the storage drive and refresh CMOS by re-inserting the
CMOS battery.
Running slow?
1. Use third-party software to check the hard disk for bad sectors.
2. Low Disk Space.
