6.4 Assemblage
Place the drum heater around the drum. The pre-installed (or enclosed) retaining straps help with mounting and at
the same time prevent sagging during operation (Figure 6.4.1). Align the two fastening straps according to a good fit
on your container. To protect against moisture and mechanical impact, the drum heater should not be placed directly
on the floor during this process. Close the buckles and tighten the tie straps evenly (Figure 6.4.2). The drum heater
must fit smoothly against the container without wrinkles and the heated areas (indicated by the inner pockets) must
NOT overlap. The tightest possible fit will ensure efficient operation and uniform heating.
