7. Remove the PCI slot snap latch to allow the fan cable access.
a. Determine which PCI slot aligns with the slot in the top of the fan bracket.
b. Open the PCI slot snap latch by pressing downward on the latch to open it.
c. With the latch open, press inward against one side of the latch to release its hinge pin
from the hinge mounting hole in chassis.
d. Gently move the hinge latch from side to side until it slips out of both hinge mounting
holes and remove it from the chassis.
8. Slide the fan cable into the slot at the top of the external rear fan bracket.
9. Route the cable through the open latch slot and into the chassis.
10. For neatness, the plastic latch clip may be reinstalled in the latch slot if desired.
Additionally, the cable may be routed along the top of the PCI slots and concealed by
closing the latch of each slot over the cable.
11. Plug the fan power connector at the end of the fan cable into the motherboard header.
