Important information for system operators
1.4 Fuel
The boiler is suited for the burning of wood in the form of unprocessed firewood. The water content of the fuel
must be between 15 – 25 %. Approximate value: wood stored correctly for around 2 years. The effects of any
deviations from this guideline should be taken into account.
– ½ m split logs:
max. 55 cm long, approx. 8 to max. 15 cm edge length
; if lengths are very different, e.g.
1/3 m adapted filling should be undertaken!;
always split round logs
with a
Ø of more
than 8 cm!
– Wood briquettes:
additional firing with coarse wood briquettes, according to ÖNORM M7135 (max. length
40 cm, Ø 4 – 12 cm) or DIN 51731
– Residual wood:
provided that the wood isn’t pressure impregnated or coated, e.g. timber, residual buil-
ding wood, etc. If using large boards, adapted filling should be undertaken!
Attention!
Do not fill with dusty fuels – risk of explosion!
Information!
Do not use plastic parts, PVC panels, saw dust or impregnated, glued wood residue and the like –
these cause boiler corrosion and are prohibited by legislation on air purity.
1.3 Sources of danger
Power failure
(or if the blower is not running)
1.2 Safety precautions
The boiler and related accessories are state of the art and meet all applicable safety regulations and operate
using 230 V AC electrical current. Improper installation or repair can pose the danger of life-threatening electrical
