7.1.1 Installation with dynamic pressure system
If the dynamic pressure or bubbling-through sys-
tems are used, route the tube on a declining gra-
dient from the switchgear to the level sensor.
Connect the level sensor tube to the nipple on the
underside of the switchgear.Assemble immersion
bell in the shaft at the required height.
Observe the accessories and catalogue specifica-
tions for outdoor installations.
7.2 Electrical connection
DANGER! Risk of fatal injury!
Improper electrical connections pose a risk of
fatal injury due to electric shock.
• Only allow the electrical connection to be made
by an electrician approved by the local electric-
ity supply company and in accordance with the
local regulations in force.
• Observe the installation and operating instruc-
tions for the pumps and accessories.
• Disconnect the power supply before any work.
• The type of mains, current and voltage of the
mains connection must match the details on the
type plate of the pump/motor.
• Mains requirements:
NOTE: In accordance with DIN EN / IEC
61000-3-11 (see table below), the switchgear
and pump with motor power of ... kW (column 1)
are provided for operation on a mains power sup-
ply with a system impedance of Z
max
at the house
connection of max. ... Ohm (column 2) for a maxi-
mum number of ... connections (column 3).
If the mains impedance and the number of switch-
ing operations per hour is greater than the values
given in the table, because of the unfavourable
mains connections, the switchgear with the pump
may lead to temporary voltage drops and also to
disturbing voltage fluctuations, or flickering.
Therefore, measures may be necessary before the
switchgear with pump can be operated correctly
on this connection. The necessary information
must be obtained from the electricity supply com-
pany and the manufacturer.
• Provide fuse protection on mains side (max. 16 A,
slow-blow) as well as an FI safety switch in
accordance with the regulations in force.
• To increase the operational reliability, we recom-
mend the use of an automatic circuit breaker
(which disconnects all power leads) with K charac-
teristic.
• Feed the ends of the pump cable through the
cable screw fittings and cable inlets and wire them
according to the markings on the terminal strip.
