If using a flexible connection cable for the earth wire, use a ring eyelet (Fig. 12).

If using a rigid connection cable, connect the earth wire in a u-shape (Fig. 13).
Residual-current device (RCD)
A frequency converter must not be protected by a residual-current deviced.
Frequency converters can impair the function of residual-current-operated protection cir-
cuits.
NOTICE
This product can cause a direct current in the protective earth conductor.
Where a residual-current device (RCD) or a residual-current monitoring
device (RCM) is used for protection in the event of direct or indirect con-
tact, only a type B RCD or RCM is permitted on the power-supply side of
this product.
Labelling:
Trigger current: > 30 mA
Fuse on mains side: max. 25 A
