When the product is connected to the electrical control panel, particularly when
electronic devices such as soft startup control or frequency drives are used, the relay
manufacturer’s specifications must be followed to comply with the electromagnetic
compatibility (EMC) requirements. Special separate shielding measures (shielded cables,
filters, etc.) may be necessary for the power supply and control cables.
3. Transport and storage
3.1. Delivery
On delivery, immediately check that the product is complete and undamaged. If any
parts are damaged or missing, the transport company or the manufacturer must be no-
tified on the day of delivery. Claims made after this date cannot be recognized. Damage
to parts must be noted on the delivery or freight documentation.
3.2. Transport
Before transport, the product must be packaged in such a way that it is protected from
moisture, frost and other damage. Keep the original packaging for this purpose.
3.3. Storage
• The store room must be dry and frost-proof. We recommend storage in a room with
a temperature between 10 °C and 25 °C.
• The product must be protected from direct sunlight, heat, dust, and frost. Furthermore,
the product may not be stored in rooms where welding takes place. Heat and cold,
as well as the gas and radiation given off during welding can damage the plastic and
coatings.
4. Product description
4.1. Proper use
The Wilo suspension units are suitable for use in sewage and wastewater. They enable
pumps and discharge pipes to be easily installed in pits and reservoirs.
4.2. Construction
The suspension unit is used for the stationary, wet installation of pumps.
