TROUBLE CHECK LIST
SYMPTONS
Fan doesn' t start with switch on.
Fan starts but ignition fails. Radia-
tion disk doesn' t become incandes-
cent.
Odor and black smoke come out.
Flame fluctuates.
Ignition is followed by misfire and
stop.
Abnormal noise at pump.
CAUSES
• Failure in power cable connection.
• Defective connector.
• Broken fuse.
• Voltage drop.
• Fuel tank empty.
• Clogged nozzle.
• Clogged filter.
• Foul fuel.
• Combustion air improper.
• Foul fuel.
• Dirty flame monitor.
• Defective line joints.
• Fuel tank empty.
MEASURES
• Locate and repair failed part.
• Replace or repair.
• Replace with new one.
• Use thicker power cable.
• Fill tank with fuel .
• Replace nozzle.
• Remove element and replace.
• Check fuel quality.
Use water-white kerosene.
• Adjust air inlet door.
• Check fuel quality.
Use water-white kerosene.
• Clean or replace.
• Check and tighten joints on lines
and filter.
• Fill tank with fuel .
