The plastic pipes are clamped by means of corresponding clamping tools.
Afterwards, the front sides of the pipes are equally planed by means of the planer and the pipe
mismatch is checked.
In case of
contact welding,
with mounted attachment plates, the heating
element is driven in and the pipes are shifted to the heating element on aligning
force.
After expiration of the aligning time, the force is reduced (heating force = 10%
of the aligning force), the heating begins.
The
infrared welding
is effected
without
the aligning since it is a touchless
welding process!
The attachment plates must not be mounted!
The heating element is driven in and the pipes are shifted in front of the heating
element on defined distance (limit stop), the
heating
begins.
The heating time is necessary to bring the pipe ends up to the welding temperature.
After the heating time has elapsed, the slide is opened, the heating element is moved back
and the pipes are joined again. (
change-over time
)
The pipes are joined by the required welding pressure and cool down under pressure as well
(
cooling time
).
After the cooling time, the welded pipe can be unclamped.
The welding processes are logged and can be printed via the parallel interface of the SPA in a
long or short version, or stored to a SD card.
Infrared welding (option):
Contact welding:
Heating element heats
the pipes up to the
welding temperature
Completed welding
connection with internal and
external bead
Infrared heating element
touchlessly heats the pipes
to the welding temperature
