Check mismatch of the pipe ends. If mismatch is ok, open pipes,
<joystick 13> on

and confirm it by <Enter>.

The mismatch may not exceed 10 % of the wall thickness; the allowed
crack may not be larger than 0.5 mm.

In case the mismatch is too large, align the pipes horizontally at the right
table with the ratchet tightener, resp. readjust the pipe ends within the
clamping tools.

Thereafter repeat planing.

6.2.5.

Bead up

Move the heating element being clean and heated up to nominal
temperature into machine with <joystick 5> on

Slowly raise pressure with <pressure controller 12> up to actual
pressure = nominal pressure (when reaching the nominal pressure
there will be a short beeping sound).
Maintain pressure until the pipe completely butts against the heating
element and a bead has built according to DVS.

The heating element temperature is heated up to more than

200°C

!

Do not touch the surfaces of the heating element.
Take enough safety distance to inflammable materials.
Do wear safety gloves.

The travelling area of the heating element must be clear!
