6.2.3.
Planing
Move the pipes on planer with <joystick 13> on
(cling to the joystick
during planing)

Indication of:
moving force and upcoming force
Switch on planer with <joystick 6> on:
simultaneously adjust planing
pressure with <pressure controller 15>; it should be appr. 10 - 20 bars
+ drag pressure; the pressure is shown on the pressure gauge.
Carry out planing until a revolving chip is around the pipe ends 2-3
times with the pipe ends being plane.
Interrupt planing in case too much chips have accumulated; for this purpose
release <joystick 6> and remove chips.
You can carry away cut injuries up to fractures! Do wear formfitting clothes, if
necessary wear a snood-type cap. Do not touch planer at the front surface.
The travelling area of the planer must be clear!
Noise exceeding 80 dB (A) may occur; during planing it is obligatory to
wear ear protection!
Open pipe ends, <joystick 13> on

Deactivate planing, for this purpose release <joystick 6>.
Move the planer out of the machine, <joystick 6> on:
.
Remove the chips, thereby not touching the processed surfaces.
Confirm planing by pressing <Enter>.
Abort and back to basic menu by pressing <C>.
One menu step back by pressing <Enter> (keep pressed) and <->.
