purpose please unscrew and remove the lid of the furnace and remove the foam mat. Afterwards
the heating elements can be installed. Then the lid of the furnace has to be screwed down into place
again.
In Germany, the general accident prevention regulations VBG, resp. BGZ have to be observed. The
national accident prevention regulations of each respective country have to be met.
12. Installation of the heating elements
The heating elements have to be installed with greatest care, because they are extremely fragile. To
protect the heating elements against possible transport damages, they are not pre-installed, but
delivered in separate boxes.
Take the heating elements out of the box. Insert the heating elements from above into the openings
at the edges of the top insulation plate of the furnace, until the head of the respective heating
element rests upon the insulation.
Now take the connecting contacts out of the box and screw these to the heating elements (see
image on page 10). Any twisting of the heating elements in the process has to be avoided, as the
heating elements are extremely fragile.
After the installation has been carried out, the lid of the furnace has to be screwed down into place
carefully.
The removal of the heating elements has to be carried out in reverse order. This is absolutely
necessary for shipment or transportation.
Attention:
Heating elements are extremely fragile. The installation has to be carried out
by authorized and qualified personnel.
