COMPONENT ACCESS
Removing the Front Panel Assembly
WARNING
Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect power before servicing.
Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.
Replace all parts and panels before operating.
To Remove the Front Panel Assembly
1.
Unplug washer or disconnect power.
2.
Turn off water supply to washer.
3.
Disconnect cold inlet water hose and remove the drain
hose from the standpipe or laundry tub.
4.
Perform the procedures on page 4-7, “Removing the Toe
Panel” prior to performing the following steps.

Perform the procedures on page 4-8, “Removing the Top
Panel” prior to performing the following steps.

Perform the procedures on page 4-15, “Remove the
Console/User Interface” prior to performing the following
steps.

Using a Phillips screwdriver, remove the two (2) screws
securing the door hinge to the washer front panel (see
Figure 1). Remove washer door and set aside.

Remove the bellows spring clamp. Pull bellows away from
door opening (see Figure 2).

Remove three (3) lower front panel 7 mm screws.

Remove two (2) upper front panel 7 mm screws.

. Lift up front panel to separate panel from cabinet.
NOTE:
The door lock harness is still connected to the lock
assembly. Disconnect the door lock harness and then set
aside front panel for reassembly.
