Whirlpool Compact Front Load Washer

COMPONENT ACCESS

Removing the Pressure Switch

WARNING

Electrical Shock Hazard

Disconnect power before servicing.

Failure to do so can result in death or
electrical shock.

Replace all parts and panels before operating.

To Remove the Pressure Switch

Unplug washer or disconnect power.

Turn off water supply to washer.

Perform the procedures on page 4-8, “Removing the Top

Panel” prior to performing the following steps.

The pressure switch is located on the right panel toward

the front. Disconnect the pressure switch harness (see

Figure 1)

Remove the hose from the pressure switch (see Figure 1).

. Turn the pressure switch 90° and to disengage the switch

from its mounting bracket. Remove switch from the

washer.
