SERVICE TEST CYCLE CHART
NOTE: Perform Service Test Cycle without laundry in the washer.

Door is locked. ACU is performing the self
test.
ACU detects F05, F07, F13, F20, F21, F24, F26,
F27, F29, F60.
C01
Prewash valve fills for 6 seconds.
Main wash valve fills for 6 seconds.
Prewash and main wash valves both fill for
16 seconds.
Prewash and main wash valves both fill to
wash level.
Motor turns on.
Verifies activation of valves, dispenser, and
pressure sensor.
ACU detects F01, F06, F07, F10.
C02
Heating element turns on for 15 seconds.
Motor is off. Display shows a measured
temperature, e.g., 20C = 20°C (68°F)
Verifies activation of heating element, correct
measurement of cold water temperature.
NOTE
: Heating time is very short; no
noticeable actual temperature increase.
C03
Drain pump turns on until reaches wash level
+ 8 seconds.
Motor reverses
Verifies activation of drain pump and reversal
of motor.
ACU detects F03, F06, F07, F15, F26, F27.
C04
Unbalance and load size is measured. Display
shows amount of measured unbalance in
kg (example: “0:03” = 0.03 kg [30 grams] of
unbalance).
Motor revs to maximum speed.
Drain pump turns on.
Verifies that motor is running at maximum
speed.
Verifies the displayed unbalance.
Verifies activation of drain pump.
ACU detects F06, F07, F28, F34.
C05
Motor turns off (brakes).
Door is unlocked.
Washer turns off.
Verifies unlocking of door and turning off of
washer.
ACU detects F13, F29 (FdL).
NOTE:
The total duration of the Service Test Cycle is approximately 5 minutes. During the Service Test Cycle, all UI LEDs will be on
except for the “door open/door unlocked” LED. The display will show the test step sequence.
Do not skip test steps. Washer must be connected to water supply when performing Service Test Cycle.
The following indicates the basic meaning of each “F##” fault/error code. See the chart beginning on page 3-6 for more details.
F01 = Water flow
F20 = Main relay or heater relay
F03 = Drain pump
F21 = UI communication
F04 = Heater timeout
F24 = Overflow
F05 = Temperature sensor
F26 = Drain pump
F06 = Motor rotor
F27 = Motor
F07 = Motor control (internal failure)
F29 = Door lock
F10 = Motor control (over temp.)
F34 = Motor spin
F13 = ACU door lock
F36 = Analog pressure sensor
F18 = Suds detected
F60 = ACU internal failures
