Electrical Shock Hazard
Disconnect from electrical supply before ser-
vicing unit.
Failure to do so could result in death or
electrical shock.
CAUTION:
When you work on the range, be
careful when handling the sheet metal parts.
Sharp edges may be present, and you can cut
yourself if you are not careful.

Turn off the electrical power to the range.
Refer to Figure 4-8 for the following steps.

To remove the bake element
:
a) Remove the two screws from the
mounting plate and pull the element
forward as far as the wires will allow.
b) Disconnect the wires from the bake el-
ement terminals and remove the ele-
ment.
Refer to Figure 4-9 for the following steps.

To remove the broil element:
a) Remove the two screws from the broil
element mounting plates.
b) Pull the broil element forward and un-
hook the bracket tabs from the slots.
c) Pull the broil element forward as far as
the wires will allow, disconnect the
wires from the broil element terminals,
and remove the element.
