5. Assembly, adjustment, and disassembly
5.3.3.
Adjusting the seat height
WARNING
Persons who have an implanted pacemaker, implanted defibrillator, or other
electrical medical devices on their bodies, must leave a minimum of 8 inches
(20 cm) between themselves and the magnetic connectors.
The magnetic connectors are located at the connection between the seat assembly and rear
drive base. The magnetism of the magnetic connectors may have an adverse effect on electrical
medical devices.
Do not press a sharp object against or apply a load to the cables.
The damaged cable may cause malfunctions or unexpected device operation.
Cables
CAUTION
When adjusting the seat height, do not forcefully pull the seat post.
There is a cable inside the seat post. Forcefully pull the seat post may break the cable inside it.

For the removal procedure, refer to “5.4.1. Removing
the battery” on page 84.
