NOTICE TO FIRST RESPONDERS
Emergency Power Disconnect Instructions for EMT Personnel
• Always assume the vehicle is powered-up despite no engine noises.
• Never touch, cut, or open any orange cable or components protected by orange shields.
To disconnect main power in the Wheego LiFe:
1. Put vehicle in park, turn ignition off, and remove key.
2. Open the hood. The hood release is located to the
left of the brake pedal in front of the driver’s door.
3. Locate the disconnect on the passenger side of the
control box, shown circled in the picture.
4. Squeeze latch and remove disconnect jumper.
The power from the lithium battery pack has now been disconnected from the main power cables that run from the back to the front of the car.
(no pack voltage power is present in the front of the car)
Note: This car is equipped with an Impact Sensor that automatically cuts off power in the event of an impact of 30G or greater, and/or airbag deployment.
If the Impact Sensor was tripped during the collision, the power will already be disconnected.
The 12 volt accessory battery is located in the front of the car; the 12 volt circuits will not be affected by disconnecting the jumper.
