The curb weight, GVWR and payload may be found on the placard on the frame of the car

The Federal Motor Vehicles Safety Standards provide the following Steps for Determining
Correct Load Limit:
(1) Locate the statement ”The combined weight of occupants and cargo should never
exceed XXX kg or XXX lbs.’’ on your vehicle’s placard.
(2) Determine the combined weight of the driver and passengers that will be riding in your
vehicle.
(3) Subtract the combined weight of the driver and passengers from XXX kg or XXX lbs.
(4) The resulting figure equals the available amount of cargo and luggage load capacity.
For example, if the ``XXX’’ amount equals 1400 lbs. and there will be five 150 lb.
passengers in your vehicle, the amount of available cargo and luggage load capacity is
650 lbs. (1400-750 (5 x 150) = 650 lbs.)
(5) Determine the combined weight of luggage and cargo being loaded on the vehicle.
That weight may not safely exceed the available cargo and luggage load capacity
calculated in Step 4.
(6) If your vehicle will be towing a trailer, load from your trailer will be transferred to
your vehicle. Consult this manual to determine how this reduces the available cargo and
luggage load capacity of your vehicle.
For the Wheego Life, the following load limits apply.
Curb Weight (weight of the car with no passengers or cargo): approximately 2,828 lbs.
Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR): approximately 3,300 lbs. Must not be exceeded.
The GVWR is the actual weight of the vehicle including the weight of the entire payload of
options, passengers, and cargo.
Payload Capacity: approximately 627 lbs. (o pass cargo). For example,
if the driver and passenger each weigh 175 pounds for a total of 350 pounds, the cargo
space may hold a maximum of 277 pounds. If there is no extra passenger, the driver may
pack 452 pounds of cargo. Exceeding the weight restrictions will have a negative impact
on the handling of the car, and on the ability of the car to stop quickly. It will also impact
the reliability and life of the tires. Do not exceed the GVWR.
Maximum passengers: 2, including the driver. Passengers may not ride in the cargo area.
