Connection
Connecting a single lamp
The following connection example is suitable, if you
intend to use the lamp as a single lamp. You do not
need any other components than the included solar
module and a suitable connecting cable.
Connect the input lead of the solar module to the
terminals
S–
and
S+
, observing right polarity.
Afterwards turn the switch (B1) in the connecting case
to the position
ON
in order to activate the battery
pack.
Connecting a single lamp with external switch
On the terminals
M–
and
MSIG
you can, additionally to the above mentioned
example, connect an external switch. The switch will bridge in the energized
status the motion detector so that the lamp can be manually switched on at night.
If you do not want that the lamp will be automatically
switched on and off by the motion detector, turn the
middle switch on the motion detector to the position
OFF
. The lamp will turn on at night, if the external
switch is closed.
Instead of the switch you can also connect a link on
the terminals
M–
and
MSIG
. Now the lamp will
continuously light up at night, but this will much
reduce life time of the battery pack!
